Gabriel & Tasiana
We met in graduate school at Rice University after being placed in a group project together. We quickly became friends, we laughed, and we fell in love! Ever since, life has been adventure together: traveling to new places, learning new recipes together, playing buraco with Gabriel’s parents, bird-watching with Tasiana’s family, and enjoying life with our newest household member, our cat Batata!

The first time Gabriel met my parents was over facetime ~3 years ago as we told them we were moving to the Netherlands together! How scary is that?! We later found out that my aunt had told my dad that Gabriel was the one, it turns out she was right!

Gabriel proposed in Floresta da Tijuca, during Gabriel’s first time back home after nearly 4 years. We were lucky enough to celebrate surrounded by friends and family.
