Travel
  • 1. Fly into Seattle/Tacoma International Airport (SEATAC) or Bellingham International Airport (BLI).*If you’re feeling adventurous, you can also fly directly to the island by seaplane through Kenmore Air.

2. Rent a car or take the bus to Anacortes Ferry Terminal.

Car: *We recommend renting a car so you can drive around the island and greater region if you’re staying longer! Seattle Airport has all major car rental companies (Enterprise, AVIS, Hertz, etc.) There are also car rentals on the island, see those here.

Bus Information: If you prefer to take the bus, find that information here. The shuttle picks up from Seattle Airport and will take you to the Anacortes Ferry Terminal to take the ferry to Orcas. Once on the island, there are local taxis/shuttles.

3. Take the Ferry to Orcas Island. (Route: Anacortes to Orcas Island)

Ferry Information: *We strongly advise booking your ferry tickets in advance. You can book your ferry reservations here. We will do our best to notify everyone when they release tickets for the summer, likely in March. You are only required to pay a reservation fee (~$16), and the final fee will be collected on the day of the trip. Please be sure to arrive an hour before the ferry is scheduled to depart, especially if you are driving.

Please don’t hesitate to ask us questions, we are here to help! We know you are traveling far and wide to be with us. For additional information on how to get to Orcas Island, see the link here.

Accommodations
Welcome to Orcas Island! See below for recommendations on where to stay while you’re with us.

Cabins

*We have cabins available on the campground for guests to stay in for the entire weekend. We only ask for a $60 flat-fee to cover the cost of pillows/linens.

Please note, these cabins are very camp, not fancy! We’re talking twin/bunk beds, shared restrooms, etc. See photos below of a couple of the cabins. We have larger cabins to share in groups, so please let us know if you would like to bunk together.

We ask that you reserve a cabin with us here. We kindly ask that you let us know by July 22, 2026.

Hotels*

For those that wish to book their own accommodations, we have a few recommended hotels listed below.

    Rosario Village
    Inn at Ship Bay
    Otter’s Pond
    Outlook Inn
    Landmark

*If you are not staying in our on-site cabins, we recommend booking accommodations early as lodging books up quickly this time of year. Hotels typically charge a refundable deposit and you pay the majority the day of arrival.

Airbnbs/VRBO

On Orcas Island, there are plenty of Airbnbs and VRBOs available. We also recommend NW Vacations, they manage properties on the island and have a couple of places near the campground.

Please reach out if you are having trouble finding places to stay or have any questions, we are happy to help.
